Practice Setting

• Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• 26 bed unit capacity
• Inpatient neonatal patient population
• Average daily census of 10-15 in the newborn nursery

Schedule

• Only 7-14 shifts per month still available
• 24 hour shift blocks including weekends
• Ongoing need starting this summer
• Block scheduling may be available to maximize your time off

Procedures and Cases

• Rounding on assigned NICU and nursery patients
• Proficiency in all critical care skills required
• Delivery room attendance and some transport duties
• Managing 7-10 NICU patients per shift

Requirements

• Active Arkansas license required
• Minimum 24 months of experience
• Current PALS and NRP certifications
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner certification

Credentialing Requirements

• 120 day credentialing timeframe
• Full credentialing support provided
• No temporary privileges available
