Cornea Ophthalmologist | Chattanooga, TN | $600K+ Potential

Join a well-established ophthalmology practice in Chattanooga with 14 physicians, a strong referral base, and an optometry-friendly culture. This cornea-focused role offers high surgical volume, dedicated OR time, and a primarily adult surgical patient population.



Position Highlights

• High surgical volume with up to 30 cases per week
• Primarily adult surgical patients with minimal pediatric volume
• Practice across 2–3 office locations and a physician-owned ASC with multiple ORs

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Flexible OR schedule with up to two OR days per week

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed salary of $400,000–$450,000 with 30% collections sharing for $600K+ potential
• Employed position with a 1-year income guarantee, followed by a percentage of collections
• Production incentives generally around 35%
• Medical, dental, vision, and malpractice insurance
• Vacation and CME time
• Relocation assistance and signing bonus considered

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO with fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease
• Open to residents, fellows, and experienced physicians (no visa sponsorship)
• Strong surgical judgment and collaborative mindset
• Excellent communication skills and positive contribution to practice culture
