Emergency Medicine NP assignment based in Hawaii with unique onboard cruise ship setting.
Highlights
- Assignment based on a cruise ship docked daily in Honolulu
- Dates still available through fall; minimum 30-day commitment

Practice Setting
- Outpatient clinic onboard ship with emergency medicine cases
- Collaborative team includes a physician and 3 RNs
- Access to Cleveland Clinic support for complex cases
- Provider manages 2 inpatient rooms and 2 ICUs onboard
Schedule
- Clinic hours split between morning and evening sessions
- Shared on-call coverage during off hours with physician and RNs
- No long-term commitment; short-term coverage through mid-November
Cases and Procedures
- Treat all ages; must be comfortable with full-spectrum EM
- Must be confident with intubations and reading x-rays
- Emergencies can be offloaded by coast guard if needed
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years ER experience (can include RN background)
- POCUS certification required (can be obtained prior to start)
- Hawaii license and DEA required at submission
- Must meet physical standards for shipboard emergencies (e.g., carry 50 lbs, BMI ≤ 40)
Travel Accommodations
- Airfare, pre-departure hotel (if needed), and ground transport covered
- Private cabin and meals included on board
