Practice Overview
- You’ll join a collegial section of 14 body imagers within an established radiology department
- 100% diagnostic reading room focus with single-modality day rotations (CT, US, or MRI)
- Advanced case mix including oncology imaging, thoracic, liver/renal, and cross-sectional GI/GU
- No baseline procedures required; light procedures (biopsies, drainages, joint injections) available if you want them
Schedule
- Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with alternative block scheduling options
- No night coverage (8:00 PM–8:00 AM); call is limited to occasional weekend coverage for vacation relief
- Hybrid flexibility supported with a dedicated home diagnostic workstation; on-site presence preferred
- Expected daily targets by rotation: US ~75 studies, CT 25–30, MRI ~15
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary guarantee for the whole contract
- wRVU model with thresholds and additional earnings opportunity (Tier 1 and Tier 2 at $48.24/wRVU; above Tier 2 at $33.77/wRVU)
- Sign-on bonus available (details finalized during interviews) plus relocation allowance as a lump sum
- CME: 10 days + $4,000; PTO includes 46 days
Candidate Requirements
- MD/DO with BE/BC in Diagnostic Radiology
- Body Imaging fellowship preferred (or strong body imaging focus)
- Open to new grads and experienced radiologists
- Visa sponsorship available; interest in leadership/section roles welcomed
