Consult-only MFM assignment in California with light volume and home-based call, located near San Jose International Airport (SJC).

Highlights

• No deliveries required; consults only
• Home call only; nights and weekends via phone

Practice Setting

• New MFM program at a hospital-owned clinic
• Rounds followed by outpatient consults (8 AM–5 PM)
• Support from RN, MA, and Sonographer
• Single-physician startup model with low patient load

Schedule

• 1-week blocks (Monday–Sunday); ideally 1–2 weeks per month
• Preference for 1st and 3rd week of each month
• Call is home-based; consults only, no in-house presence

Cases and Procedures

• Consults and maternal-fetal assessments only
• Cerclage preferred but not required
• No deliveries or high-risk procedures

Requirements

• Board-certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Active California license required
• PALS certification

Travel Accommodations

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage included
