Modesto-based MFM program seeks a consult-only physician for consistent 1-week blocks — low volume and no deliveries required.

Highlights

• No deliveries — consult-only model
• Home-based phone call coverage only
• Low patient volume (~9 per week)
• Long-term assignment through December
• Travel and lodging fully covered

Practice Setting

• New MFM program at hospital-owned clinic
• Mix of inpatient rounds and outpatient consults
• Light clinical load in a startup environment
• Support includes RN, MA, and Sonographer

Schedule

• 1 week at a time, ideally 1–2 weeks/month
• Preference for 1st and 3rd weeks each month
• Rounds 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, followed by clinic
• Weeknight and weekend call is phone-only

Procedures and Cases

• Consults only; no deliveries
• Cerclage preferred but not required
• Routine assessments for maternal-fetal health

Requirements

• Board Certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Active CA license required at start
• PALS certification
• Must be comfortable working independently

Credentialing Requirements

• 90–120 days; emergency privileges may be available for clean files
• Virtual orientation via Microsoft Teams (paid)

Travel accommodations

• Airfare, rental car, mileage, and lodging provided
