    Practice Setting:

    • Work in an outpatient urgent care clinic.
    • See an average of 3-4 patients per hour.
    • Onsite support from Medical Assistants and rad techs.
    • Provide coverage for patients of all ages.

    Schedule:

    • This is an ongoing locums need with openings available soon.
    • Choose a full-time, ongoing schedule.
    • Part-time and PRN options are also available with a minimum of 6 shifts per month.

    Procedures and Cases:

    • Standard urgent care cases like cold/flu symptoms, rashes, and sprains.
    • Perform minor procedures including laceration repair, splinting, and I&Ds.
    • Utilize onsite X-ray and EKG capabilities.

    Requirements:

    • Must hold an active West Virginia state license.
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
    • Minimum of 24 months of experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.

    Credentialing Requirements:

    • The credentialing process takes approximately 90 days.
    • Our team provides full support to streamline your credentialing.

    Travel Accommodations:

    • Round-trip travel is arranged and paid for.
    • Private lodging is provided for the duration of the assignment.
