Practice Setting:
- Work in an outpatient urgent care clinic.
- See an average of 3-4 patients per hour.
- Onsite support from Medical Assistants and rad techs.
- Provide coverage for patients of all ages.
Schedule:
- This is an ongoing locums need with openings available soon.
- Choose a full-time, ongoing schedule.
- Part-time and PRN options are also available with a minimum of 6 shifts per month.
Procedures and Cases:
- Standard urgent care cases like cold/flu symptoms, rashes, and sprains.
- Perform minor procedures including laceration repair, splinting, and I&Ds.
- Utilize onsite X-ray and EKG capabilities.
Requirements:
- Must hold an active West Virginia state license.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
- Minimum of 24 months of experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting.
Credentialing Requirements:
- The credentialing process takes approximately 90 days.
- Our team provides full support to streamline your credentialing.
Travel Accommodations:
- Round-trip travel is arranged and paid for.
- Private lodging is provided for the duration of the assignment.
