We have an ongoing locums need for a psychiatrist in Ohio. This call-only role with inpatient rounding offers flexible coverage and a streamlined credentialing process.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient psychiatric unit
• Admissions required
• Supervise advanced practice providers
• Rounding on an average of 36 patients

Schedule

• Call is 5 p.m. to 7 a.m.
• No long-term commitment required
• Call via beeper
• Both new patient evaluations and follow-ups are required (5:1 ratio)

Procedures and Cases

• Treat a wide range of clinical areas, including anxiety, affective, and psychotic disorders
• Involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application
• Pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy

Requirements

• Must be a Board Certified Psychiatrist
• Must have an Ohio medical license
• Fellowship is required

Credentialing Requirements

• Expedited privileges available for providers with a clean history
• Temporary privileges are an option
