We are urgently seeking a

Board Certified Urologist for flexible, ongoing locums coverage in California, offering an incredibly easy call schedule and the potential for a long-term contract. This opportunity provides dedicated block scheduling, allowing you to easily build assignments around your existing commitments.

Highlights

• 7-10 Days Per Month

• Block scheduling available — work multiple consecutive shifts, then off.
• Long-term locums assignment potential as the facility conducts a permanent search.
• Willing to cover the cost of California licensing for qualified physicians.
• Temporary privileges available for a faster start date.

Practice Setting

• Mixed setting of Inpatient & Outpatient

• Patient volume of 16+ PPD

• Support staff includes 2 RNs and 2 MAs

• Work with a patient population that is 99% Adult and 1% Pediatric.

Schedule

• Requires approximately 7 days per month

• Daytime clinic hours will vary, with typical ranges like M-Thurs (8-5) and Friday (7:30-5).

• 24-hour beeper call

• Call response time of 20-30 minutes.

Procedures and Cases

• Focus on General Adult Urology

• Must be comfortable with Advanced Endoscopic Techniques

• Procedures include Ureteroscopy, TRUS biopsies, ESWL, and Holmium Laser.

Requirements

• Must be a Board Certified Urologist

• Active, unencumbered California Medical License

• Minimum of 12 months of experience

• Required certifications include BLS.

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing time is 60-90 days

• Must have documentation for a Case Log/Procedure List.
