Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology
- Adult patient population
- Infusion services on site (about 12 infusion chairs)
- Inpatient support: PA manages inpatients and escalates to physician as needed
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday clinic coverage
- Typical daytime hours (8a–5p)
- Preference for one consistent provider rather than splitting coverage across multiple clinicians
- Weeknight and weekend call in a 1:5 rotation (first call; rarely called in)
Cases and Procedures
- General Hematology/Oncology patient care; taking over an existing panel
- Average volume: 1–2 new patients per day (max 6/week)
- Average daily volume: 15–20 patients (combined inpatient/outpatient)
- No procedures required
Requirements
- MD/DO
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- New York medical license in hand
