Practice Setting

• Inpatient anesthesia service, adult patient population
• 16 plus bed department, typical 5 to 8 patients per shift
• CRNAs and anesthesia techs on site for daily support
• Drager anesthesia machines, Omnicell, Cerner EMR

Schedule

• Monday through Friday coverage
• Daytime OR hours, 7a to 5p
• Weekend 24 hour beeper call, not in house
• 20 minute response time for call

Cases and Procedures

• Cardiac coverage when available, otherwise general anesthesia coverage
• TEE required, basic or advanced certification accepted
• Arterial and central line placement
• Regional blocks

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology or Board Eligible
• TEE certification, basic or advanced
• Any active US state license accepted
