Primary Care APP Opportunity in Eastland, Texas

Step into an established rural health clinic with full autonomy and room to grow. This is a unique chance to practice primary care in a community that truly values its providers, with minimal competition, growing demand, and the support of a respected hospital network. Nurse practitioners and physician assistants are welcome to apply.

Practice Overview

  • You’ll join a rural health clinic team with a medical director available for oversight while maintaining autonomous practice
  • Current volume is ~13–14 patients/day with a target of 18–20; significant referral demand from retiring local physicians
  • Procedures like joint injections welcomed; clinic equipped with on-site lab and access to visiting specialists
  • Initial location is the Eastland clinic, with possible expansion to a new clinic in Cisco

Schedule

  • Standard Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule (1-hour lunch)
  • Option to transition to a 4-day workweek with 36+ patient-facing hours
  • Friday afternoon coverage especially valued—clinic is the only one open in town
  • Potential for mid-week half day if pursuing 4-day model

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range of $150,000–$170,000, depending on experience
  • Signing bonus up to $10,000 and relocation assistance up to $5,000
  • 4 weeks of PTO; occurrence-based malpractice coverage included

  • Open to experienced or newly trained nurse practitioners and physician assistants
  • Comfortable practicing independently in a rural setting
  • Willingness to build a patient panel and stay engaged in community care
