## Gastroenterology Physician - Long-Term Potential in Louisiana

We're looking for a Board-Certified Gastroenterology Physician for an ongoing locums assignment in Louisiana. This opportunity offers long-term contract potential and a mix of inpatient and outpatient work, making it a great fit for your next coverage role.

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient & outpatient settings.
• Primarily General GI cases, including new patient access and hospital consults.
• See approximately 30 patients per shift.
• Support staff includes 1-2 RNs.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday schedule.
• Includes 24-hour call with 8 hours of onsite clinic/procedures.
• Full-time assignment with ongoing need.

Procedures and Cases

• Required procedures: EGD and Colonoscopies.
• Experience with ERCP/EUS preferred, but not required.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
• Active Louisiana medical license or Open to IMLC Physicians.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 24 months of experience.

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days.
