Practice Setting
- Outpatient-only clinic
- Support staff includes MA, RN, and behavioral health/community health worker
- Built-in huddle and charting time
- EPIC charting (online training provided)
- Language support via Proprio interpretation system
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8a–5p (1-hour lunch)
- One late clinic on Mondays until 7:30p (TBD if locum covers)
- Part-time availability considered
- Daily 10-minute team huddle built into schedule
- Saturday clinic covered by APPs
Procedures and Cases
- Hypertension, diabetes, general internal medicine
- Low acuity, underserved adult patients
- No procedures required initially; TBD over time
- Patient volume: Build up to 21/day
Requirements
- Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine
- BLS and DEA certifications
- Active Connecticut license (preferred)
- Minimum 36 months experience
- Must be EMR-proficient (EPIC); no new grads
- Experience in similar outpatient settings preferred
- Spanish a plus, not required
Credentialing and Travel
- Credentialing: ASAP with background check, drug screen, and OIG
- EPIC training and one-day paid orientation provided
- Travel and lodging available
