Join an established heart and lung transplant program offering complex surgical exposure, experienced surgeon mentorship, and a primarily weekday schedule. This opportunity allows you to build your cardiothoracic transplant experience within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Position Highlights
- Active heart and lung transplant program
- Exposure to heart and lung transplantation, ECMO, CABG, advanced heart failure management, and complex cardiothoracic procedures
- Direct mentorship from experienced transplant surgeons
- Multidisciplinary surgical team environment
- Opportunity to continue developing procedural and surgical skills
Schedule & Call
- Primarily Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Scheduling flexibility
- Shared call responsibilities with protected 8-hour rest periods
- Dedicated evening call coverage
- Non-call providers manage daytime surgical cases
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary based on experience

Candidate Requirements
- Certified Physician Assistant eligible for Florida licensure
- Experience or strong interest in cardiothoracic surgery, transplant surgery, or surgical critical care
- Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary surgical team
