Locums - OBGYN Hospitalist

An immediate Locums Assignment for an experienced OB/GYN in PA with block scheduling.

Highlights

• Ongoing need for Inpatient OB/GYN Coverage assignment.
• Work a 24-hour call Block Schedule
• Approx. 750 births annually
• Malpractice Insurance Included for the assignment.

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based Inpatient Medical Setting for adult patients.
• Work with a collaborative support team.
• Support staff includes nursing, technical, and perioperative support.
• CNM/PA support available on weekdays.

Schedule

• 24-hour shift-based coverage (7a-7a).
• Full-week (Monday-Sunday) coverage needed.

Procedures and Cases

• Full scope of Inpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• High-volume obstetrics including triage, labor management, vaginal/Cesarean birth, and postpartum care.
• Gynecology cases include ED and floor consults, and acute surgical care.
• Procedures: OVD, hemorrhage management, postpartum sterilization, postplacental IUD.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician.
• Immediate need for licensed physicians
• Experience with Adult patient populations.

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing Support provided for this assignment.
• Anticipate 60-90 days for full credentialing.
