HELP BUILD A NEW SURGICAL OB FELLOWSHIP
Play a foundational role in shaping a new fellowship program centered around rural women’s healthcare and Family Medicine obstetrics.
- Serve as core faculty within an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
- Teach and mentor residents and fellows in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with experienced OB/GYN and Family Medicine Surgical OB faculty
- Help improve access to obstetrical care across surrounding rural communities
A PRACTICE DESIGNED FOR BALANCE
This role blends teaching, clinical care, and outreach responsibilities within a collaborative academic setting.
- Four-day work week with dedicated teaching and clinical time
- Combination of outpatient clinic, inpatient obstetrics, and surgical OB care
- One weekday call shift per week with laborist support minimizing overnight and weekend burden
- Strong focus on continuity, access, and community-centered care
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Starting base salary of $235,000 plus wRVU incentive structure
- Quality bonus opportunities and $25,000 signing bonus

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of Family Medicine residency and Surgical OB fellowship training
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Experience teaching and mentoring residents preferred
- South Carolina medical license or ability to obtain
