Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient imaging.
• Predominantly adult patient population, occasional pediatrics present in the ED and typically sent elsewhere.
• Onsite reading with support from a PACS administrator, an IR lead, plus radiology tech and nursing support.

Schedule

• Weekday day shift onsite reading.
• No call responsibilities for the locum.
• Target start is ASAP

Cases and Procedures

• Screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Breast ultrasound and breast MRI.
• Ultrasound guided, stereotactic, and MRI guided biopsies.
• Needle localizations, biopsy and localization volume is TBD, confirming.

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO.
• Mississippi medical license required; they will not wait for a license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology; BE must be within 5 years.
• DEA and MQSA required.
