Locums Anesthesiologist – Various Locations in Florida

Job Details:

• Work Hours : 30 hours/week of day coverage with additional call coverage, including weekends and nights. Shifts are typically 10-12 hours.
• Case Types : Ortho, GS, Vascular, Eyes, Urology, Neuro, GI, Plastics, OBGYN, Thoracic, ENT, OMFS, Pain Management.
• Trauma Level : Level II Trauma (No OB, No Peds, No Hearts).
• Average Monthly Cases : 680 cases per month.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide coverage across multiple specialties and work within a care team model consisting of CRNAs and MDs.
• Respond to emergencies and provide regional US-guided procedures as needed.

Requirements :

• Out-of-state candidates only (No Florida-based providers).
• Board Certified required (Board Eligible accepted only within 5 years of graduation, with a detailed explanation for those between 3-5 years out).
• Life Support Certification : BLS, ACLS, PALS (Must be American Heart Association certified).
• State License : Must hold a valid Florida medical license.

Other Information :

• Rush Start : Temporary positions can start within 2-3 weeks for qualified, FL-licensed clinicians.
• Call Requirements : Call responsibilities involve solo physician call for certain locations, with a 30-minute response time required at Broward Health Imperial Point.
