Pennsylvania Radiation Oncology - 3 Weeks On, 1 Week Off

We have an ongoing locum tenens opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist in Pennsylvania, featuring an excellent block schedule for enhanced work-life balance.

Practice Setting

• Work in an established outpatient facility.
• Practice alongside a comprehensive team of physicists, dosimetrists, and therapists.
• Focus on general Radiation Oncology consults, treatments, and follow-ups.

Schedule

• Block scheduling: 3 consecutive weeks of coverage followed by 1 week off.
• Clinic hours are Monday-Friday.
• Shared weeknight and weekend call responsibilities.

Procedures and Cases

• Perform routine procedures for an adult patient population.
• Treatments include Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) and Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT).
• Utilize Stereotactic Radiation Therapy (SRS and SBRT), RapidArc®, and HDR.

Requirements

• Must be Board Certified in Radiation Oncology.
• An active Pennsylvania state license is required.
• Requires a minimum of 24 months of experience.
• Active ACLS certification.

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing timeline is 60-90 days.
• Temporary privileges are available to facilitate a quicker start.
