Dermatology Faculty - West Virginia University

The West Virginia University Department of Dermatology is seeking faculty members for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank.

Department Overview:

• West Virginia’s largest private employer and a leader in patient safety and quality
• Anchored by a 690-bed academic medical center offering tertiary and quaternary care
• Comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of all types of skin diseases, including malignancies
• Services include NBUVB light treatments, Mohs surgery, and laser surgery
• The department is growing, adding new positions, and has recently doubled the size of the residency program.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Participate in academic activities with protected time, and teach and mentor medical students and residents
• Actively contribute to the growth and development of the Dermatology Department

** Qualifications:**

• MD or DO degree and board-certified/eligible in Dermatology
• Licensed in West Virginia

• Associate Professor or Professor-rank candidates must have:

  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Publications in high-impact journals
