## Ohio Neurosurgery - Flexible Call Coverage

Highlights

  • Flexible call schedule: only one week per month.
  • Travel and lodging provided for your assignment.
  • Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Practice Setting

  • Hospital-based practice.
  • Adult and geriatric patient demographic, including emergent cases from the ED.
  • Collaborate with an experienced neurosurgery team.

Schedule

  • 24-hour call coverage for approximately one week per month.
  • Immediate need for late August into early September coverage.
  • Shifts are typically 8-12 hours in length with 1-2 emergent surgical cases per day.

Procedures and Cases

  • Neurosurgery Cases: Adult, Trauma, Brain Bleed Stoppage, Clot Removal, Tumor Removal, Trauma Repair, Shunt Insertion or Revision (with neuro IR in-house).
  • Spine Surgery Procedures: Spine Stabilization and Reconstruction, Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty, Spinal Fusion, Laminectomy, Diskectomy.

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Neurosurgery is required.
  • Must hold an active Ohio medical license.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary.

Credentialing Requirements

  • Standard credentialing process applies.
