## Ohio Neurosurgery - Flexible Call Coverage
Highlights
- Flexible call schedule: only one week per month.
- Travel and lodging provided for your assignment.
- Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Practice Setting
- Hospital-based practice.
- Adult and geriatric patient demographic, including emergent cases from the ED.
- Collaborate with an experienced neurosurgery team.
Schedule
- 24-hour call coverage for approximately one week per month.
- Immediate need for late August into early September coverage.
- Shifts are typically 8-12 hours in length with 1-2 emergent surgical cases per day.
Procedures and Cases
- Neurosurgery Cases: Adult, Trauma, Brain Bleed Stoppage, Clot Removal, Tumor Removal, Trauma Repair, Shunt Insertion or Revision (with neuro IR in-house).
- Spine Surgery Procedures: Spine Stabilization and Reconstruction, Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty, Spinal Fusion, Laminectomy, Diskectomy.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Neurosurgery is required.
- Must hold an active Ohio medical license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary.
Credentialing Requirements
- Standard credentialing process applies.
