Emergency Medicine Opportunity in Southern Oregon Near Crater Lake

Practice Overview

  • You’ll join 8 emergency physicians and 5 advanced practice providers in a level III trauma center
  • Over 30,000 annual ED visits with high acuity and full procedural scope
  • Access to 24/7 specialty support including Interventional Cardiology, Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedics
  • Advanced ED capabilities: intubations, trauma resuscitation, chest tubes, cranial burr holes, suprapubic catheters

Schedule

  • 8-hour shifts offered: 6am-2pm, 10am-6pm, 2pm-10pm, and 6pm-2am
  • 12–15 shifts per month constitutes full-time
  • Double coverage during peak hours (noon to 8pm)
  • Flexible scheduling via ShiftGen, with generous time-off accommodation

Compensation & Benefits

  • $235/hour (days) and $285/hour (nights) with bonuses of $15–$30/hour for productivity
  • Total annual compensation typically ranges $450,000–$500,000+
  • $75,000 sign-on bonus (paid over 3 years) + up to $16,000 relocation assistance
  • 1 week CME + $4,000 annually; full health benefits; malpractice with tail
  • Retirement plan included; Conrad 30 J-1 and H-1B visa support available

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) required
  • Not eligible: Family Medicine with ER experience due to contract stipulations
  • Comfortable managing high acuity and full procedural spectrum independently
  • Team-oriented mindset and interest in small-community continuity
