Practice Setting
- A mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
- Work alongside two attending ENT surgeons.
- Supported by two experienced physician assistants.
- Focus on a pediatric patient population.
Schedule
- Assignments consist of 12-hour shifts.
- Night call responsibilities are required as needed.
Procedures and Cases
- Perform a range of clinical and surgical pediatric ENT cases.
- Core procedures include tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy.
- Cases also include myringotomy with vent tube insertion.
- Frenulectomy, foreign body removal, and abscess drainage.
Requirements
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Otolaryngology.
- Active BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications are required.
- Must hold an active DEA.
- Requires at least 12 months of experience.
Credentialing Requirements
- The credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days.
