A health system in Burlington, Vermont is seeking a locum tenens Gastroenterologist for a minimum 9-month commitment. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled practitioner who can start as soon as credentialed and is comfortable with a mix of inpatient and outpatient care.

• Schedule: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

• Practice Setting / Cases:

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient
  • Anticipated Procedures/Surgeries per Week: 60
  • Types of Cases: Completing screening colonoscopies and some EGDs
  • Procedures: Colonoscopy, Upper Endoscopy
• Call Requirements: None
• Patient Ages: Adult
• Support Staff: Working solo in the Endoscopy unit with other attendings and fellows
• Charting: Epic / Endovault for Endoscopy Reporting
• Reason for Vacancy: Coverage
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days (will wait for licensure)
