Practice & Cases
- Provide emergency department coverage in a 17-bed department
- Treat approximately 20–25 patients per shift
- Perform emergency procedures including intubations and central line placement
- Work alongside dedicated nursing staff and advanced practice providers with access to multiple consulting specialties
Schedule
- Coverage for 8–10 shifts per month
- Primary need is nights, weekends, and select holidays
- Common shifts include 4:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
- Day shifts may be available based on staffing needs
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with Emergency Medicine residency training
- Active Oklahoma medical license or active Interstate Medical License eligibility
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Logistics
- Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
- Travel expenses are coordinated for the assignment
