## Urology Opportunity in Texas

You’ll step into an immediately busy urology practice with strong infrastructure and a clear need in the community. This is a general Urology position with the option to lean into robotics and build procedural offerings based on your interests. If you like autonomy, efficient OR access, and a team that has worked together for years, this one is worth a closer look.

Practice Overview

  • You’ll join an established team of urologists with experienced APP support in a shared model
  • Integrated setup: clinic adjacent to the hospital plus an on-site ambulatory surgery center for streamlined care
  • Robotics available (multiple robots) with room to grow your robotic volume if desired
  • Broad general urology with flexibility to introduce additional procedures/services over time

Schedule

  • Approximate 50/50 split between clinic and OR, with flexibility to shape your template
  • Clinic volumes commonly in the 20–25 patients/day range (adjustable with surgical mix)
  • Call trends toward manageable consult volume, with a rotation that improves as the team grows
  • Light outreach expectation (about 2 days/month) with staff support and short drive times from Waco

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base guarantee for the first 2 years, then wRVU-based compensation with no income cap
  • Sign-on bonus (negotiable) plus potential loan repayment and relocation assistance
  • Call pay is available beyond a set number of shifts per month
  • Benefits include malpractice with tail, PTO, CME time/allowance, and a full benefits package

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Urology
  • Comfort with bread-and-butter urology; ability to tailor case mix based on your interests
  • Robotics experience welcomed but not required (support and access available)
  • Texas license (or ability to obtain) and interest in building long-term patient access

Community & Location Highlights

  • Offers a lower cost of living than many major metros, with a wide range of housing options
  • Easy access to big-city amenities—positioned between Dallas and Austin
  • Strong school options and a family-friendly feel with dining, shopping, and outdoor recreation nearby
  • University-town energy plus a revitalized downtown scene
