Locum Anesthesiologist in Pennsylvania

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length: Indefinite with rotational assignments across 4 campuses

Key Duties:

• Rotate across all sites, including OB.
• Provide anesthesia for all types of cases except for hearts and neonates.
• Perform general, MAC, regional, and post-op blocks.
• Medically direct CRNAs for all cases.

Requirements:

• Ability to manage a 3:1 or sometimes 4:1 case ratio.
• Inpatient and outpatient coverage.
• Strong anesthesia skills across a wide range of cases.

Schedule & Hours:

• Full-time, 5 days per week as available.
• Shifts of 8 or 10 hours.
• Call is negotiable for experienced candidates (12 or 24-hour shifts with post-call day off).

Volume:

• Very busy service with 70,000–80,000 cases per year.

Supporting Staff:

• CRNAs are provided for all cases. Medically directed by the anesthesiologist.
