Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
- Coverage needed for a Level 4 facility.
- See adult patients for general surgery cases.
Schedule
- Full-time preferred at 4 days per week.
- Assigned clinic or OR block scheduling.
- Nightly beeper call coverage required.
- 30-minute call response time.
Procedures and Cases
- Bread-and-butter general surgery cases.
- Laparoscopic surgery and upper/lower scopes.
- Central line placement and chest tubation.
- Umbilical defects and hernias.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Surgery.
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
- This role is open to IMLC physicians.
- Minimum of 24 months of experience.
Credentialing Requirements
- Streamlined credentialing process, completed in 30 days.
- Temporary privileges may be granted to start sooner.
- Our team provides full credentialing support.
