Gastroenterologist - Only 1 to 3 Weeks Monthly, Travel Covered

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient
• St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center
• Team of 4 MDs, multiple APPs (clinic side), anesthesia (no CRNAs for GI cases), nurses, and hospital staff

Schedule

• Monday 7a–Monday 7a, 24-hour call
• Only 1–3 weeks per month, ongoing
• 7a–8a rounding, 8:30a–12p outpatient procedures (4–6/day)
• 12p–5p inpatient consults/procedures
• After-hours call from hotel

Procedures and Cases

• General GI coverage: rounding, outpatient procedures, inpatient consults, call
• ERCP/EUS strongly preferred but not required
• Average 6–8 rounding/consult patients/day, 1–3 inpatient procedures/day

Requirements

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology
• BLS, DEA certifications
• Idaho license or active IMLC LOQ
• Minimum 24 months experience

Credentialing and Travel

• Credentialing: 90–120 days
• Travel and lodging provided
