Emergency Medicine Locums - Massachusetts Physician

Emergency Medicine assignment in Massachusetts, just 60 miles from Boston.

Highlights:

• No call required; maximize your off-time
• Open to as little as 2 shifts per month
• PRN shifts still available through fall

Practice Setting:

• Two facilities: community hospital and critical access hospital
• Inpatient emergency setting
• Support staff includes RN, LPN, MAs, and Techs
• 24/7 specialty coverage at primary location

Schedule:

• 12-hour day and night shifts
• Minimum 2 shifts/month; up to 6 shifts available
• You choose the number of shifts; great for supplemental income
• Block scheduling possible across multiple sites

Cases and Procedures:

• Full-scope emergency medicine
• Average of 1.7 patients per hour
• All ages, including some peds
• Procedures include intubation, central lines, chest tubes, a-lines

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Massachusetts license required
• Must hold ACLS, ATLS, PALS, DEA

Travel Accommodations:

• Mileage and lodging reimbursed
