Schedule

• 1 to 2 weekends per month
• Typical coverage Friday evening through Monday morning
• Additional holiday and vacation weekends available
• Consistent weekend blocks throughout the year

Cases and Procedures

• Full scope cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery
• Open heart and pacemaker procedures
• Mix of operative cases and consultative call
• Approximately 150 heart cases annually

Requirements

• Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician
• Active Iowa license or IMLC in hand
• Current ACLS, BLS, and DEA
