    We have an ongoing locum tenens opportunity for an experienced OB-GYN to provide in-house coverage in Maryland. This is a chance to pick up shifts on a flexible, ongoing basis while managing low- and high-risk pregnancies and deliveries without the responsibility of being on call.

    Practice Setting

    • Inpatient-only position on a 13-bed floor
    • Level 3 Trauma Center
    • See an average of 15 patients per shift
    • You'll be working with a support staff of 10 RNs
    • Responsible for supervising advanced practice providers

    Schedule

    • Scheduled clinical hours only
    • 24-hour in-house shifts
    • The facility is open to accepting multiple providers to help cover the need
    • There is an ongoing need for coverage

    Procedures and Cases

    • Vaginal and C-section deliveries
    • Management of low- and high-risk pregnancies
    • FHR interpretation and Amniocentesis
    • Handling of breech, multiple births, and abruptions
    • Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
      • *

    Requirements

    • Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    • Active Maryland license or Open to IMLC Physicians
    • ACLS certification is required
    • Must be able to handle both OB and ED consults
    • Must have experience with surgical gynecology, including open and laparoscopic procedures
