Weekend-only inpatient assignment in Greenville, North Carolina; zero call and fast credentialing.

Highlights

• Saturday and Sunday shifts only, 8a–5p
• No call, no nights, no weekday work
• Long-term assignment with pre-approved time off

Practice Setting

• State-run inpatient psychiatric treatment center
• Strictly medical role (no psych responsibilities)
• Full care team: 2 experienced PAs, RN staff, Psych support
• EPIC live as of August 2025

Schedule

• Work weekends only (Saturday & Sunday)
• Must commit to at least 3 weekends

Cases and Procedures

• Addiction medicine, chronic disease, STI/pregnancy care
• Light wound care, EKGs, med consults
• High-acuity cases referred to nearby teaching hospital

Requirements

• MD or DO; Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Board Certified or Eligible
• Active North Carolina license
• BLS and DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• All-inclusive rate; no separate travel reimbursement
