This weekend inpatient assignment is based in Greenville, North Carolina.

Highlights

• Saturday/Sunday shifts only — great for part-time income
• No call required
• Fast credentialing — start as soon as this month

Practice Setting

• Inpatient rounds at a state-funded treatment center
• Focused on adult psych and addiction-related medical issues
• Work with full medical and psych team

Schedule

• Saturdays and Sundays, 8a–5p
• Every weekend preferred — pre-scheduled time off allowed
• No overnight, no weekday requirement

Cases and Procedures

• Addiction medicine, wound care, chronic conditions, med consults
• Higher-risk cases referred to teaching hospital
• Occasional light procedures — basic wound care, EKGs

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in FM or IM
• North Carolina license required
• BLS and DEA required
• Must be comfortable supervising 2 long-tenured PAs

Travel Accommodations

• All-inclusive rate — travel and lodging not separately billed
