Practice Details
- Faculty position within a comprehensive Heart and Vascular Institute working alongside surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists, and vascular specialists
- Open to all academic ranks, including Assistant, Associate, or Professor
- Flexibility to focus on core academic cardiology, community-based cardiology, or a combination of both
- Opportunity to participate in research within a subspecialty area of interest
- Strong infrastructure and support staff, including scribes and call coverage assistance
Schedule
- Clinic responsibilities are approximately one day per week
- Average daily clinic volume of about 16 patients
- Patient mix of roughly 40 percent new and 60 percent follow-up visits
- Administrative and scholarly time is integrated into the role
- Relaxed call structure with support from trainees and staff

Candidate Requirements
- MD or DO with Board Certification in Cardiology
- Eligible for medical licensure
- Experience or interest in clinical program development and academic medicine
- Mentorship of residents is welcomed at select locations
