Practice Details

  • Faculty position within a comprehensive Heart and Vascular Institute working alongside surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists, and vascular specialists
  • Open to all academic ranks, including Assistant, Associate, or Professor
  • Flexibility to focus on core academic cardiology, community-based cardiology, or a combination of both
  • Opportunity to participate in research within a subspecialty area of interest
  • Strong infrastructure and support staff, including scribes and call coverage assistance

Schedule

  • Clinic responsibilities are approximately one day per week
  • Average daily clinic volume of about 16 patients
  • Patient mix of roughly 40 percent new and 60 percent follow-up visits
  • Administrative and scholarly time is integrated into the role
  • Relaxed call structure with support from trainees and staff

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO with Board Certification in Cardiology
  • Eligible for medical licensure
