Practice Overview

• Practice in Hickory, NC, serving a multi-county, 50-mile-wide region with a strong referral base
• Team of 9 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• On-site Endoscopy Center with 3 GI suites and Olympus 190 scopes
• 11,000 colonoscopies and 3,500 EGDs performed annually

** Schedule & Call**

• Monday–Friday clinic schedule with dedicated endoscopy days
• Rotating hospitalist coverage with one dedicated week of inpatient duties

• Call is 1:7 rotation

  • No rounding required during call hours
  • Dedicated APP support for hospitalist weeks

** Procedures & Facilities**

• Bread-and-butter gastroenterology (colonoscopy, EGD, sigmoidoscopy)

  • EUS preferred, but not required

• Block scheduling for efficiency and optimal workflow

  • 24/7 anesthesiology support and experienced GI tech teams

** Compensation & Partnership**
