Cover flexible 7- to 14-day blocks in a Level III NICU while caring for neonatal patients alongside an experienced team of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and support staff.

Practice & Cases
- Inpatient coverage in a 47-bed NICU and Special Care Nursery
- Average daily census of 31 patients with approximately 3 admissions per day
- High-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, ventilation management, and neonatal procedures
- Procedures include chest tubes, central and arterial lines, UVC, UAC, PA catheter insertion, and PICC placement
Schedule
- Approximately 9 weeks of day coverage and 9 weeks of night coverage
- Preferred 7- to 14-day coverage blocks
- 10-hour day shifts and 14-hour home call nights
- Variable 1:4 home call rotation with a 30-minute response time
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Active Michigan medical license required
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Neonatology with Neonatology fellowship required
- Current NRP Advanced Provider or Instructor status required
