You’ll step into a high-demand Gynecologic Oncology role with immediate need and a strong regional referral base. Practice Overview
- You’ll join a physician-led private practice model with established referral relationships across New Mexico and the Southwest
- Team support includes 2 physicians, 6 APPs, and dedicated research/clinic staff to keep your day moving
- Full-scope gyn onc: advanced pelvic surgery, minimally invasive and robotic cases, treatment planning, and survivorship care (minimal general GYN)
- Integrated collaboration with medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, infusion, and clinical research programs
Schedule
- Balanced week with a predictable mix of clinic, OR, inpatient rounding, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Typical split: 2–3 OR days/week and 2 clinic days/week, with dedicated block time available
- Clinic volume averages 20–30 patients/day; OR volume averages 5–15 cases/week
- Shared call with physician partners; APP takes first-call triage, with additional call support during portions of the year
Compensation & Benefits
- Proven earning potential with documented physician earnings of $1,000,000
- Productivity and quality upside available (details shared on request)
- Malpractice coverage and standard benefits package offered; relocation/sign-on options may be available based on fit and timing
Candidate Requirements
- MD/DO required
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gynecologic Oncology
- Comfort with complex pelvic surgery and minimally invasive/robotic approaches (or strong interest in expanding robotic volume)
- Experienced physicians and strong new grads welcomed; no visa sponsorship
