Hospital-based IR opportunity in Hawaii with coastal access and potential for long-term assignment.
Highlights
• 219-bed hospital with Level III Trauma & Stroke Center

• Only 1–2 weeks at a time; you choose your blocks
Practice Setting
• Inpatient hospital-based IR with 24/7 call support
• Well-equipped Angio Suite, 3T MRI, 640-slice CT
• Collaborative team including trauma, neuro, and hospitalists
• Dedicated IR staff and technicians on-site
Schedule
• 24-hour hospital call coverage; on-site weekdays 7a–5:30p
• Night/weekend coverage for urgent or emergent cases
• December blocks still open; January and beyond ongoing
• Block scheduling allows for time off between shifts
Cases and Procedures
• Vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures
• Fistula-related procedures: angioplasty, stenting, embolization
• Urgent/emergent cases including trauma, stroke, hemorrhage
• Bonus if able to assist Neuro-IR for Stroke Program
Requirements
• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Active Hawaii license preferred; IMLC welcome
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
Travel Accommodations
• Roundtrip airfare to Kahului Airport (OGG) provided
• Lodging covered for night before/after each assignment
• Rental car included ; explore the island between shifts
