Interventional Radiology Locums Physician – Hawaii, Open Holiday Dates

Work on the island of Maui with open dates through spring; Christmas coverage still needed.

Highlights

• Christmas Eve and Day shifts pay 1.5x
• Serve an underserved community in a warm, coastal setting
• Long-term locums potential; dates available into summer

Practice Setting

• 219-bed Level III trauma center
• Three-room Angio suite with IR, Cardiology, and Vascular capabilities
• Dedicated IR support staff and anesthesia team
• Weekday coverage 7a–5:30p with night/weekend call

Schedule

• Must be available for Christmas week (Dec 22–26); orientation likely Dec 19
• Additional dates available through May, with ongoing openings from July forward
• 24-hour inpatient call model (low night/weekend callback rate)

Cases and Procedures

• Vascular and non-vascular IR: embolization, thrombolysis, angioplasty, stenting
• Inpatient consults, emergency interventions, and fistula procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology
• Hawaii license or active IMLC (Hawaii can be added in 1–2 days)
• Must have a clean background and second DEA for initial assignments
• BLS and ACLS required

Travel Accommodations

• Travel covered: airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage
• Fly into Kahului Airport (OGG); time zone difference and full-day travel considered
• Lodging includes night before and after assignment

Other Details

• Must be able to take most or all scheduled dates through spring
• EPIC charting experience preferred
