Physician - Urology Locums - AHC Shady Grove Medical Center

A community healthcare team in Maryland is looking for Urology coverage! Benefit from a supportive team environment treating patients of all ages (no neonates) in a beautiful location.

** Practice Setting:**

• 400-bed community hospital
• No trauma cases

• Support staff includes nursing unit and technicians for a tertiary care department

  • Charting: Cerner

** Schedule:**

• Night call only
• Call shift is Friday 5 PM - Monday 8 AM

• Weekend coverage is 3 weekends per month; 4 on months with 5 weekends

  • 12-month assignment

** Cases and Procedures:**

• Procedures include cystoscopy, urethral dilations, bladder/uteral repairs, scrotal explorations, and I&Ds
• Patients are all ages, but no neonatal

** Requirements:**

• Board-certified in Urology
• Maryland or Interstate Medical License
• DEA, CSR, BLS, and ACLS required

** Travel and Lodging:**

• Travel and lodging support is provided
• Rockville experiences all four seasons, providing residents with stunning views year-round
