Interventional Cardiology Assignment in Louisiana

** Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity**

We are looking for a skilled Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Louisiana! Join a supportive team and contribute your expertise to providing exceptional patient care for the community.

** Practice Setting**

• Inpatient medical setting with a dedicated nursing team, including one or two nurse practitioners, to assist with patient rounds

• Supported by a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory team

  • Charting: Epic

** Cases and Procedures**

• Performing a variety of interventional procedures, including pacemakers, peripheral, and coronary interventions

  • Rounding on 10-15 patients per day
  • Performing 10-15 procedures per week

• Reading EKGs, EMGs, and echocardiograms

** Schedule**

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

  • Night and weekend call as needed
  • No outpatient responsibilities

• Ongoing assignment; 1-2 weeks per month until permanent hires are made

** Requirements**

• Board-certified in Interventional Cardiology
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications
• Louisiana or Interstate Medical License
