Flexible, Ongoing OBGYN Opportunity in Iowa

We are seeking a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to provide exceptional patient care for a locum tenens assignment at our health system in Iowa.

** Practice Setting:**

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient care

• Team of 3-4 other MDs and OB nurses

  • Charting: Cerner

** Cases and Procedures:**

• OB/GYN cases include deliveries, C-sections, IUD insertion and removal, and some high risk pregnancies at the FQHC

** Schedule:**

• Ongoing monthly coverage from January, starting with October

• Inpatient responsibilities:

  • 6 days per month

• Outpatient responsibilities:

  • 6 days per month

• Clinic hours are 8 AM - 5 PM

  • 24-hour call; generally 1:4 call ratio
  • Actual volume per 24-hour call shift varies

** Requirements:**

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• ACLS, DEA, and NRP certifications
