Emergency Medicine Opportunity In Western Mississippi- Weekly Pay, Routine Procedures

Healthcare facility in western Mississippi looking for emergency medicine physicianss to provide ER coverage this fall & winter!

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts, 6a-6p or 6p-6a
• Around 7-8 shifts per month available, typically in 2-3 day stints

• Start this November

  • Credentialing timeframe estimated 60 days, faster for a clean background

Assignment:

• Volume: 18,000 annual ER visits, estimated 50 patients per day. Provider sees about 1/2 of the daily volume in a 12 hour shift with APC support
• 10 bed ED, 6 bed ICU
• Support staff: Surgery & Uri on call 1/2 the months, 24hr APC coverage, OB, Peds, etc.
• EMR: SCM but switching to Epic in a couple of months
• Cases/Procedures: Will need to be comfortable with all general ER cases that come into a level 4 trauma center

Requirements :

• Board-certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine or FM/IM certified with ER experience
• ACLS, BLS, DEA, PALS
• Active MS license & DEA or if IMLC, proof provider has already applied for license.
