Urgent Primary Care Coverage Needed in Southern California

A clinic in California is seeking a Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.

Schedule:

• Ongoing assignment beginning in February

• Monday - Friday

  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • No call

** Practice Setting:**

• Average volume of 3 patients per hour
• Patient patient is all ages for FP; 18+ for IM
• Support staff includes a care team, LVN, and care coordinator who manages panel

** Case Mix:**

• Minor procedures including suturing, skin tag/wart removals
• Medically complex patient cases (multiple diseases- heart disease, lung disease, chronic diseases, etc), and traditional outpatient primary care
• Multiple comorbidities, ER Follow-up, minor procedures, annual wellness checks, medicare annual wellness checks

** Requirements:**

• Board-certified Family/Internal Medicine physician
• BLS and DEA certifications required
