** Cardiovascular Surgeon Coverage Needed in Texas**

Heart health leader in East Texas seeks cardiovascular surgeon for 24 hour call coverage. The hospital is ranked by U.S. News as a Best Hospital.

Practice Setting:

  • Primarily inpatient surgical coverage for the ED & referred elective cases
  • Full scope CV Surgery
  • EMR is Paragon and Cerner Mckesson Cardiology
  • APP's available
  • Average 10-15 patients
  • Program averages about 100 hearts per year

** Schedule:**

  • December dates needed for 24 hour call

    • Average 8 hours of call back

** Qualifications:**

  • Board Certified
  • CV fellowship
  • Active Texas Medical License
  • Active Texas DEA
  • May consider IMLA with LOQ letter in hand

** Travel and Lodging:**

  • Travel and loading will be provided
